Eliot Porter

The photo I picked was taken by Eliot Porter, a photographer who specializes in nature photos. I really like how the blue and yellow flow together so well. I also like how the blue background is somewhat blury so you can not really tell what it is. So most of the focus is on the bright yellow leaves. The depth of field really brings the color in the leaves out though. I dont think the leaves would look as bright if the background did not have the dullness to it. But the backgound plays a good role with the yellow because the clouds still have a tiny yellow and orange glow to them if you look close.
